What drives the inner entrepreneur in you? The business entrepreneur contest fuels the inner entrepreneurs within students and provides an incredible platform to come up with a business idea. This year’s contest is special because the winning teams would get sponsorship and mentorship to actualize their business idea! They will get a work space in Beppu, kitahama.
This year’s theme is, leveraging the hidden treasures of Beppu for sustainable business ideas.. You will have to work with the unique factors of Beppu city and build a business based on that. The contest is much more than just coming up with a business idea. Starting from building a team, making a business plan, delegating tasks and budgeting finances, the contest compels students to step up the entrepreneur game and actualize it.
As far as the process of the competition is concerned, the teams or individuals would need to promote their business idea on social media, through videos and the videos with the most likes and exposure on social media would have a high chance of winning. The team members can be between 1-4, which means you can even apply singularly if you are confident with it! BEC can create a great opportunity for students to expand their networking and experience real life entrepreneurship.
Don’t forget to save the dates. The idea submission is from November 10th till December 12th. After this, there will be online voting and judging from December 13th to January 2nd.
